Holland Resource Updates the Tennessee HRA Statement of Service for FY 09/10 |
 The Tennessee HRAs operate under a broad mandate to deliver social services to the 95 counties in Tennessee. Each agency, under the guidance of their governing board, is continuously assessing the needs specific to their area and planning services best suited for their region.
A comprehensive listing of the programs delivered through the HRAs includes hundreds of individual contracts funded through various federal, state, and local sources. These programs illustrate the breadth and depth of expertise represented by the Tennessee HRAs, and the value of service provided to the people in need throughout the state.
Annually, the HRAs prepare a detailed listing of programs and services the HRAs deliver in each country. This includes the value of the service (service dollars), the number of units provided for each service, and the number of people helped. Holland Resource compiles this data and produces an Annual Statement of Services for the Tennessee HRAs. The FY 09/10 Statement of Services is now available from your HRA. This is one of the many examples of the Special Project work Holland Resource provides its clients. The final product seen here is the culmination of a complicated and detailed process to coordinate and combine over 10,000 data elements from nine independent agencies. The volume of data is staggering. Holland Resource coordinated this work to meet specific publishing deadlines and developed common descriptions and categories to summarize this data into a format easy to read and comprehend.
